In the 1881 Census (RG11/2610F38&39)(No copy) he is shown aged 52, born Tolleshunt D'Arcy, living with his wife only, plus a governess, two servants and four juvenile boarders/scholars.
Original info from his father-in-law' will (Doc32) in 1885, when he is named as Jane's husband.
Shown as an executor to his mother-in law's will in 1885 (Doc160) and receives ten guineas legacy.
In the will of his wife's second cousin (Sarah) he is named as of Hassop, Derbyshire but receives no legacy(Doc401).

Jane first appears as a 7 year old on the 1841 Census (Doc 30) living with mum,dad and 4 sisters.
In 1851 Census (Doc 29) she is aged 17, unmarried and still with parents. Birthplace shown.
She does NOT appear again with the family inthe Census. Assumed married and moved away.
From her fathers will (Doc 32 probated 1885) she has married a Henry Charles Everard, no further details, and was left a sum of money.
In the 1881 Census (RG11/2610F38&39)(No copy) Jane is shown aged 47, born Goldhanger living with her husband only, a governess, two servants and four juvenile boarders/scholars at a school, where her husband is principal.
Receives tenth part of her mother's legacy, in her will made in 1885 and probated in 1892(Doc160)
In her second cousin Sarah's will (daughter of Daniel Francis 1789-1864) she is shown as cousin and wife of Henry Everard of Hassop in Derbyshire and left the legacy of £25 cash. Her daughter, Catherine Everard, spinster, is left a part share of the residue (Doc401).
