FREDERICTON - ° l’Hôpital régional Dr Everett Chalmers, le dimanche 22 juillet 2007, est décédée Mary "Agnes" (Hachey) Doucet, épouse d’Azarias Doucet, domiciliée à Fredericton, mais autrefois de Bathurst. Né le 29 janvier 1919 à Bathurst, elle était fille de feu Félix et Rose (Melanson) Hachey.
Outre son époux, Azarias, elle laisse dans le deuil ses filles: Marguerite-Rose (Everett Doucette), Anne-Marie, Lucille (Rodrique Aubé), Roseline (Gary Bamford), Gisele (Peter McDonnell), Suzanne (Eric Megarity), Louise et Marie-Reine (Kenneth Clark); son fils, Jean-Marc (Donna Hossack); son frère, Edgar; 18 petits-enfants, huit arrière-petits-enfants; une belle arrière-petite-fille, ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.
Outre ses parents, ses soeurs: Berthilde, Marion, Stella, Rita et Sylvia, ainsi qu’un demi-frère, Leonard, l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
Mme Doucet était membre de l’église St. Anthony. Elle était membre de la Ligue des femmes catholiques et elle a été présidente de la Ligue des femmes catholiques de St. Anthony de 1985 à 1987.
Les visites se feront à la Maison funéraire York, 302, promenade Brookside, à Fredericton, le mercredi 25 juillet, de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église St. Anthony, rue Union, à Fredericton, le jeudi 26 juillet, à 11h. L’inhumation se fera au cimetière St. Anthony de Fredericton.
