The first is Daniel Horn who died 1825 Ivinghoe (husband of Mary Pitchford). In it he leaves 5 pounds each to 3 children of his first wife (didnt know he'd been previously married) James Horn, Henry Horn and Lucy, wife of Thomas Jeffs. I had a look on familysearch and there is a Lucy Horn born 1775 to Daniel and Elizabeth Horn. There is also a marriage of a Daniel Horn 1770 to Elizabeth Wakeman so I am guessing this is Daniels first wife.
The Downpatrick Dicksons were buried in the Non-Subscribing Presbyterian graveyard.

Daugther Hannah, wife of Francis Horn residing with him gets her bed, linen, furniture etc and daughter Harreit Horn gets his own bed, linen furniture. Son George is named as the executor and his cottages & land are to be sold and divided equally between the five children of his 2nd wife - Daniel, Clara (wife of William Newman), George, Hannah (wife of Francis Horn) and Harriett. Strange how my Daniel is the only baptism missing from the IGI but at least it proves he was also Daniel and Mary's son.

Ap. 9 1921. (The will of Robt. Dickson or Dixon late of Bonecastle, farmer, who d. Dec.25 1891 at same place was proved at Belfast Sept.12 1892 by Samuel Dickson of Ballykilbeg and Samuel McCombe of Drumarode both farmers, two of the executors. Robert Jr. was married three times and lived in Michigan City USA for some time -(Pam & Paul Money)
IGI reports a marriage for a Robert Polley born abt Jul 1947 Canada to a Rosa Alice Ruble on Sep 1882 in Howard City, Montcalm, Michigan.
There is also another Robert Polley marriage on 12 Jun 1887 in Chicago, IL to a Mary Ann MAGEE but no specifics on Robert so could have been someone else.
-Cobourg - Arrest for Forgery - On Christmas eve, Constable W. Orr went to Cramahe, about a mile and a half below Castleton, and arrested, Robert H Polley, who was charged with forging the name to his father, to a note about six years ago. After the forgery, Polley cleared out to the United States, where it is supposed he remained till about a month ago; when on his return the arrest was made, as stated. Constable Orr brought his prisoner to Cobourg, when his father satisfied the claimants of the amount in question with a new note, and nobody appearing against Polley, he was released.

**Notes on article - Robert's wife passed away only weeks after his reported return in the article, he may have brought her back from the US for her last days (to see her family) or she may stayed behind when he left and he was coming to visit her. Either way the timing in relation to her death does point to some meaning for his return. His son Arthur is said to be born in Ontario on the 1881 census but I have been unable to find his birth, maybe he was born in the US?
