Originally came to notice in the 1851 Census (Doc239) as a 3 year old living with her parents.
In the 1881 Census (RG11/1764F89)(No copy) Sarah is shown as the wife of Charles Darby, confirming information received from Harriett Nolan. She has five children John Francis born C1872 at Little Waltham, Annie Oldfield born C1873 Little Waltham, Mary Louisa born C1876 at Little Waltham, Margaret Jane born C1878 Hatfield Peveral and Ethel Grant born 1880 at Roxwell.
On her sister, Anna'a, marriage certificate in September 1881 one of the witnesses is shown as Sarah Elizabeth Darby, who I would think is this lady (Cert196).
