The day I was born a miracle took place

I was given the best Mum by God’s grace

My Mum is the kindest gentle soul

she completes our family..makes us whole

Her words are gentle..prayerful from God

I walk in her footsteps...following where she knowingly trod

When I am down she lifts me in prayer

knowing she loves me...she’s always there

When my life seems confused and wrong

she listens to me...lightens me with a song

My life has been so blessed and complete

leaving my burdens at my Mums and God’s feet

What a sweeter gift could a child receive

than having a Mum...my cares she does relieve

It amazes me when she worries so

as under her love the family does spiritually grow

As Christmas season comes again

I know with her I can share joy and pain

My burdens and secrets she shares

it’s cosy to know she’s a Mum who cares

I thank Jesus that I’m so richly shown love

Blessings abundant have come from above
