I can’t believe you’re going...you’ll be gone

A new adventure and the time to move on!

You and your family are up to the test

it’s a big move going out west.

I have admired you up close and afar

as a nurse you really are a star!

Your heart is soft and made of gold

your kind acts are too many to be told

The residents will miss your smiling face

for all of us you will be difficult to replace!

You add a kindness and a smile to our day

you show you care by the things that you say

We have shared the down times life has thrown us

and yet you manage to work without a fuss.

There are really no real words to express what I think

But you not at work...it’s going to stink!
